As the co-founder of the non-profit Kingdom Missions Fund, Darrell Amy noticed that the largest donations came from business owners, and he wondered how he could help generous business owners quickly grow revenue so they could give even more.

Founders who want to sell their business at a premium face the challenge of founder dependence. The potential buyer worries, “What happens to the business when the founder leaves?” Sellers that demonstrate a good answer to this question set themselves up for an exit at a premium multiple.
